Product Overview
The HIMA H41Q-HRS B4237-2 is a compact Programmable Electronic Safety (PES) system designed for high and highest availability applications in the process industry. It is TÜV-tested and meets the requirements of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3 according to IEC 61508, making it suitable for safety-critical applications that demand reliable and precise control signals.
As part of HIMA's HiQuad family of systems, this product utilizes a QMR-quadruple modular redundant design, featuring four microprocessors integrated on the same Control Unit (CU) module, with two identical CU modules forming the central control unit. This physically separated redundant structure eliminates the risk of common-cause failures.
